Discover the Wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine

TCM is a comprehensive medical system that originated in China and has a history spanning thousands of years. It is based on the concept of balance between Yin and Yang, as well as the circulation of vital life energy, known as Qi, through a network of meridians in the body.

A healthy state is considered to be the result of a harmonious interaction between Yin and Yang, while disease is the result of an imbalance between these two opposing forces. To restore health, TCM focuses on restoring the proper flow of Qi and restoring balance between Yin and Yang.

Diagnosis in TCM involves careful observation of the patient's pulse, tongue, and other physical symptoms. Based on this information, the TCM practitioner identifies the nature of the imbalance and devises a treatment plan consisting of various therapeutic methods.

Acupuncture is one of the best known and most used treatment methods in TCM. In addition, TCM also includes other treatments, such as acupressure, herbal medicine, cupping and Tai Chi.

The focus of TCM is on maintaining health and preventing disease by maintaining a balanced lifestyle, following seasonal rhythms and eating nutritious foods. It is an integrated approach that recognizes the connection between body, mind and environment and strives to achieve harmony at all levels.
