Dr. Voll, pathologist-anatomist, developed electroacupuncture into an independent medicine, the EAV (Electroacupuncture according to Voll).

 

The starting point of electroacupuncture is that there are exact places on the skin that are closely related to certain organs and tissue systems. Dr. Voll discovered that a large number of acupuncture points can provide very specific information. ​

 

This specific information can be translated into Western medicine.

 

This treatment method provides a better understanding of the similarities between traditional Chinese medicine (including acupuncture) and regular Western medicine.
